Extremely pale yellowish brew with a modest foam in the Pilsner glass. Light bodied with a silky mouthfeel. This tastes a lot like a sweet cider, though unfortunately not so sparkly.
There is not really any taste of malt, just the zingy fruity flavor that does have some distinct rhubarb in the nose. Also that astringency that you can feel in your teeth, though it's not very acidic on the tongue. If only this had some Belgian yeast to cut through the residual sugar, it would make a great Saison.
Drinkable, but less interesting than the fruity tang promises. From the 650 ml bottle purchased at the Swan Hotel bottle shop in Victoria.

A: Pale, clear yellow with visible carbonation and fairly minimal head.
S: Sweet pale malts, a bit fruity (apple, maybe?).
T: I don't really taste the rhubarb as billed. It's very light, maybe a bit cidery without the sweetness.
F: Very crisp and refreshing.
O: A nice light beer for summer.
