An enchanting aroma of strawberries arises from the creamy crown of this Wheat Ale. A subtle tart presence imparted by Rhubarb is tethered to a gentle weight of bread-like characteristics from Canadian Wheat. A beautiful melody of flavours wrapped in a blanket of Golden Blonde haze.

Hazy orange-gold color. Poured a short head that collapsed to rim bubbles after a minute. Moderate flow of medium sized bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. There were some chunky bits in the second half of the bottle. Left no lacing.
Light yeast funk that faded away, leaving a light, sweet butterscotch and a faint strawberry. Swirling the glass kicked up the funk again and more butterscotch.
Slightly tart but more sweet flavor. Very light strawberry, with some very light unknown fruit. Butterscotch shows up after it warms a bit. A mild bitter shows up with the butterscotch. Mild bready malt. The aftertaste turns to sweet and distinct strawberry with light bitters and some of the yeast funk.
Moderate tongue tingling as it grows to a coarse foam. Feels a bit oily.
Very interesting blend of flavors. Very light touch with the fruit; the strawberry is only obvious in the aftertaste; the rhubarb is more like a wild ale flavor than a fruit. The chunky bits were a bit disconcerting. I don't know if it would be better to lightly filter it or for the label to recommend a swirl before pouring in the glass.
