I had this beer on-tap in a dimpled mug at the brewery’s Dunajská location.
Appearance: dark brown hue with an opaque body and a thick head of creamy tan foam. A lovely pour!
Smell: sweet and caramelly malt with a pronounced yeastiness. Not bad, but it feels like the caramel is a bit too prominent.
Taste: quite sweet with caramel, yeast, a hint of chocolate, and a moderate bitterness. I find that it’s growing on me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: the more I drink of this beer, the more I’m coming around to it. The aroma still isn’t blowing me away but it’s a solid dark lager.

Finished the meal with a 0.4L pour of this Czech dark lager and wow what a beer! Had so many elements of a good stout but drank light and easy. Slovak beer is obviously quite similar to Czech beer and you can taste it at this brewpub. Their tank beer is superb with such full, rich flavors. Prices are (relatively) good, too. Delicious!

뭔가 내 취향은 아니다. 원래 이런건진 모르겠는데.. 너무 미지근하게 서빙이 되기도 했고 깊은 풍미를 기대했는대 너무 가벼운 쌉쌀함만 입안에남는다.

Bratislavsky bubak. Pours dark brown with a reddish hue with a medium creamy head that goes a bit quickly but leaves streaky lace. Nose is light malt with a whiff of hops in the back. Not much there. Taste is clean and crisp, but not a lot of flavor. Very light dark malt, but otherwise a light lager. Mouthfeel clean and crisp. Overall a decent beer if you know you are getting a light lager in dark form and not expecting something substantial.

Dark brown color, mahogany edges. Solid beige foam.
Toasted smell, but delicate. Coffee, cappuccino, some hrassy hop notes. Pleasant.
In the moth, toasted notes, hazelnut, and, over all, coffee. Then a good bitterness. Not bad.
Average to light body. Toasted and bitter aftertaste.
Some diacetyl.
