This has the most distinctive nutty and even musty aromatics. Plenty of suds in the glass with a spritzy mouthfeel. Color is a handsome clear orange amber.
Warm and biscuity with a mellow nutty flavor. Moderately bitter, with a fruity finish and something like blackberry seeds. Thoroughly pleasant and drinkable brew with plenty of malt. From the 64 oz growler purchased at the brewery taproom on Memorial Highway west of Mount Vernon.
