On tap at the Barrel House in southeast Portland. This one is quite a concoction: wheats and Quads, aged in both wine and Bourbon barrels, and made with raspberries, blackberries, and apricots.
The color is a beautiful deep cranberry. So intensely fruity in the flavor— this may be the best fruit beer I've ever had. Still, I wish it wasn't so sour. Imagine how perfect this would be lightened up with a less sour beer in the Rodenbach style.
Vast aromatics of berries in a wonderful balanced mix. It's like they've invented a whole new kind of berry flavor.
