On tap at Elizabeth station in Bellingham.
A: 1/2" tan head over black liquid.
S: Figs, chocolate, coffee and roasted malt.
T: sweet, figs, pears, chocolate, coffee and it tastes like lactose as well.
M: incredibly smooth and creamy. Makes me wonder if this is a milk stout.
O: incredible flavors, creamy mouth feel, couldn't ask for much more.

The Cascade Porter has no lack of flavor. It is a strong bitter chocolate flavor but tastes charred more than roasted or grainy. It tastes like a cookpot that hasn't been cleaned in awhile.
The beer is opaque brown tinged with red and has a chocolate nose and a vague soapy head. It improves with a bit of warming but ultimately achieves nothing worth waiting for and remains indistinct, and bland though formidably so.
