Pours a relatively clear light golden amber, no head and very little lacing. Nose is oak, vanilla, dried mango, musk, resin, spice. Taste is pleasingly tart, passionfruit, dried mango, sour stone fruit; none of the oaky, vanilla, spicy notes from the aroma on the palate. Feel is pretty light and crisp. This is the canned version, and was expecting something a bit brighter, particularly physically, based on its description and previous reviews. Still, it was really enjoyable (as are most things from Cascade!).

cool new one from these guys, a blended sour blonde in wine barrels with dragon fruit and pineapple, really fun neon flamingo pink color, almost no head at all from the tap and whats there settles immediately, pretty jewel tone, rose pink, a little cloudy, looks nice. it smells great too, instantly not as sour to me as so many of their beers are, less acetic and sharp, more woody and tangy, somewhat subtle, especially for them, a little funk in the mix too, winey notes, oak and vanilla and white pepper esters as well. the flavor is way more fruit forward than the nose to me, pineapple first but dragon fruit evident too, surprisingly less sweet than anticipated, some of the wine fruitiness comes through here from the barrels too. i love the funkiness and the maturity, i like the springy floral aspect this brings, and i even pick up a little raspberry and red apple amidst the other fruits. this needs more carbonation, straight up its kind of flat, but i love it not being as so sour as so many of theirs are, its more drinkable that way, and the acid here highlights the fruit rather than cutting through it. tasty stuff, another unique and clever wood aged sour from cascade, the beat goes on. glad to have been able to drink this one on tap!
