On draught at the Raccoon Lodge, their Imperial IPA is clear bronze/dark orange with a creamy white head that leaves nice lace.
Spicy pine hops, strong, some work like sweetness, resinous and very fresh.
Taste is intensely hoppy, very spicy, bitter, big malt backbone, very aggressive.
Mouthfeel is slick, oily, medium bodied.
Drinkability is nice for a very bold DIPA, has a surprisingly balanced smoothness in spite of itself.
