Had on tap. Murky gold appearance with two fingers of white foam with light spotted lacing. Yeast forward nose with golden malts, flowers, and honey. Taste is much the same, but thins out quickly. Light bodied yeasty feel with a thinning felt too, carb is low for style. Gateway at best

Straw colored yellow, average head. Aroma, even though they acknowledge there are "lager" hops in this, it still doesn't mean I shouldn't smell some hops. Devoid of hop aroma.
Taste is way underhopped, hops are just the wrong type here. Made for lager drinking non craft people. Lacks bitterness, hops, flavor, even malt kinda.
This beer has no reason to exist other than to give to people who don't like Cascade's barrel program.

On tap at the Cascade Barrel House. Pours a finger of head on a hazy light straw body.
The aroma is grain.
The taste is grainy with a mild bitterness.
The texture is crisp with a medium body.
It's a nice and easy drinking brew.

On tap at the Raleigh Hills Raccoon Lodge.
A pale golden yellow with a thin, white head with decent retention and lacing, this looks decent. The nose is utterly inoffensive. I don't smell the German pilsner, and I barely smell the noble hops (maybe some lemon?) Faintly grainy, moderately husky and utterly bland. The palate is no better. Opening mildly doughy, mildly grainy, faintly bitter and with a mild flavor of lemon, a little sweet. The finish is insipidly clean, lacking in any real flavor except for some bicarbonate, more than is necessary. What this does is that it wipes out the little flavor that can lift this beer out of mediocrity. Poor.
