First had: on tap at Cascade, Portland, OR
Poured a dark brown color, a small cap of tan bubbles for a head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee grounds. Taste was big on the roasted dark malts, with notes of coffee. The description promised chocolate, but I really didn't get much chocolate from the brew, other than some subtle cocoa bitterness perhaps. Medium mouthfeel, not as heavy in the body as I prefer my darker beers, but still ok, and decently drinkable overall.
