Enjoyed this on tap at Portland, OR barrel room on 9/2/12
*Not sure on the style and ABV
A: Pours a murky reddish, brown color. Even in the small glass, I get an off white small head. Leaves some lacing bits.
S: The nose on this is delicious rum soaked dark fruit smells. You definitely get those figs shining through. Also, rum soaked raisin, prune, etc.
T: The taste matches smell. Really nice fig flavors mesh in with the barrel character of vanilla and toffee. Legit it tasted like a fig newton with booze around it. OK, that doesn't sound great to many....but to me, I liked.
M: It's a medium bodied brew. It's so easy drinking it's dangerous.
