Poured brown in color with reddish brown highlights and a thin head that left some good frothy lacing sticking to the glass. Plenty of dark fruit plum upfront in the aroma with oaky character, slight vinegar and mild citrus. Nice acidic plum flavor with tamarind character alongside mild vinegar notes and good oaky accents. The brew was medium in body with a moderate amount of carbonation which had a fruity, acidic, oaky, sour and mild dry finish. This one was really a treat. Glad to be sitting at the barrel house ticking some brews.

This is a new release. It's a barrel blend and is mostly 2008 brews of Sang Rouge. Pours a dark amber color with a foamy head.
Very good and balanced aromas of tart red apples, some grains, dark berries, and cherries.
Well balanced and very smooth. Very good depth with notes of red apples, cherries, and tart berries.
The age certainly mellows the sourness. But, what is there is complex and very balanced. This is scary drinkable.
