Pours with a giant dense white head topping a light golden body. The name is spot on as the aroma is almost entirely candied cherry with enough of that lacto tang to get a little pucker reaction in the cheeks and salivation going. Cherry juice continues in the flavor with hints of peach and citrus rounding things out. Carbonation from the live barrel is a bit low, as expected, but drinkability is still high due to a medium-light body and modest acidity. Finish is moderately long and pleasant. One of the best Cascade releases in a while, in my opinion, and I appreciate the relatively low ABV, which I think is more of the sweet spot for their beers than many of the 10+% monsters they've been putting out lately.
