We are having a warm and humid afternoon in Dallas, Texas, and I am drinking 2019 Vernal Dichotomous a Belgian Saison from Jester King, ABV 5.40%. It is brewed with toasted rice and lemongrass and refermented with foraged loquats. This is a delicious and thirst quenching Saison with a unique flavor.
Look: hazy golden, some bubbles, and a finger thick white head
Aroma: toasted rice, lemon, apricots
Taste: The flavor is tart lemon, toasted grains/rice, a bit smoky maybe, apricots, a hint of grapefruit and a grassy bitterness at the end.
Body/Other: light to medium body, easy refreshing drinking
