Light golden color with minimal head on a vigorous pour. Leaves just a few spots of lacing on the glass.

Very light aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Lightly flavored with a bit of earthy and grassy hops leading to a sharp bitter finish. A bit of caramel malt balances the hops.

Light bodied and effervescent. The carbonation is perhaps the most forward part of this beer. Very low alcohol for an IPA, even a British example. It is interesting that the IPA is the lowest abv of any of the 5 styles offered by this brewery.

[3.9% ABV] on cask tap at The Lorne in Oban.
Clear golden-amber body with a good head and exceptional lacing for a cask ale.
Mild aroma dominated by sweet malts.
Hops slightly dominate the malts in the mildly bitter flavor.
Excellent soft mouthfeel.

IPA on cask. Nice frothy head, surprisingly. Almost perfectly clear orangish ale.

Nice bitter hop aroma and sweet pale malt, with a touch of caramel malt as well. Definitely leans toward citrus, with touches of pine and stone fruit.

Flavor follows: fairly sweet, a touch fruity, and a touch malty. Not particularly bitter. Exceptionally easy to drink, actually. Hints of peach, blueberries, and grass, with mandarin orange pulp. Plenty of biscuit and sweet bread, and a touch of pine.

On cask, it's smooth and exceptionally drinkable.

This is quite an enjoyable IPA, and a delight on cask. It could use a touch more bitterness, but it drinks as easy as the view of the bay from the brewpub.

In front of the Oban Bay.
Golden color, slightly hazy. Average foam, but quite persistent.
Fresh and hoppy smell, citrus notes. Then tea leaves, and a hint of white flowers, Light earthly note. Pleasant.
Good taste too, fresh, light, thirst quenching. ├╣Citrus notes, and light eartly ones.
Average to light body, great drinkability.
