Served from the tap in a clear pint glass, it looks like a lager. It has that light and bright amber color. There's very little sustained head. It smells like a lager, with mild hits if hops, malt and yeast. There is a little more of the yeast character here than most others of the style. That embolden the taste, but at the expense of drinking refreshingly, as lagers often do. It does provide a backbone for a bitter hoppiness that surpasses most lagers.
