1/4" thick head in a snifter glass on tap at Thai Me
up/Melvin brewing taproom. Smell is roasted coffee with hints of cocoa. Taste follows the nose- it's a wonderful coffee stout. At 9%, it's amazingly smooth. Mouthfeel is right on, creamy and full. This is a great beer.

Draft from the brewery... Pours standard thick black with a dark brown head that dies back pretty quickly presumably from the alcohol.. Thick coffee and dark chocolate in the nose and the flavor.. Excellent... Amazing coffee flavor and no hints of the 13% ... Nice residual sweetness really ties this together... Probably the best big beer that I had on my recent trip.
