Draft at Thai Me Up. Clear, medium golden, small soapy head. Funky, herbal, earthy aroma. Taste too, funky, light dank, musty. Savory , lots of flavors followed by a mild bite.

I seem to be on a (mostly) AIPA CAN Kick for The CANQuest (tm) tonight & it is working for me. I know that I am a hophead & as such, I have a number of IPAs of various stripes awaiting my attention. No time like the present!
From the CAN: "It's Yours!"; "Whose world is this? It's yours! This IPA is also yours. Brewed on Wyoming’s West Coast with 100% lupulin powder, we hit the cross-fader between old school skills and new school technology, creating a tasty remix to keep your head ringing."; "BEER FOR YOUR FUTURE [-] 25% of Your IPA sales will be donated to charity."
I was curious about this one since I had gone through a number of Melvin CANs at one point, but this one remained an oddball. Hmm. The easiest way to parse this puzzle was to Crack! open the vent & begin a slow, gentle C-Line Glug. It certainly wanted to foam, forming two-plus fingers of dense foamy, soapy, tawny head with moderate retention, leaving a load of lacing in its wake. Color was a hazy Amber (SRM = > 7, < 9). Nose had a grassy earthiness, much like a wet-hopped AIPA! 8=O Mouthfeel was medium-to-full. The taste, while slightly bitter, reminded me of mixed berries, especially blueberry, but with some raspberry & strawberry thrown in for good measure. Mmm. I was really digging the mellow nature of this one, making me deeply curious about its measured IBUs. Suddenly, I was inspired to check its ABV. 7.1%?!? Eeek! This was dangerously easy-drinking! Finish was semi-dry but I felt like it was starting to catch up to me. Phew. NOT a safe CANdidate for the beach-bound cooler!

On tap at The Daily Refresher in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a clear rusted orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like citrus rind, caramel malt, piney hops, and some light soapiness.
This doesn't hold a candle to Melvin's regular IPA or 2x4, but it's still worth a look. It's a touch malty, but the bitterness is refreshing, and there's enough citrus to keep it complex. There's a touch of soapiness on the back end which isn't my favorite, though.
This is medium bodied and crisp, but it doesn't finish clean unfortunately. It's mostly drinkable.
This isn't quite near the top of the pile for Melvin, but it's still worth a try at least.

Can. Nice CLEAR gold with lasting head and lace. Citrus and mango and papaya aroma with some grassy grains and herbs. Pretty sweet honey grainy apricot mango with medium light citrus and herbal bitterness. Very smooth. Wish I had made it a little colder, but still very complex and delicious.

It’s been almost 6 months that I had an American craft beer - and it’s really been a while...
Today when I opened this can I felt happy for the amount of hops in the aroma and that remarkable hoppiness of this IPA. Although it might not be the juicy trademark IPA of the true West Coast like Stone et al, it is still quite a good one and I’m happy for it. Not a groundbreaker but was perfect for welcoming me back to the world of the Real American Craft. Thanks and cheers!

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 10/25/2018. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden/amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, onion, weed, peppercorn, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with big strength. Taste of huge tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, onion, weed, peppercorn, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, red grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/rind, wood, mint, onion, weed, peppercorn, pine, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/resinous/drying finish, not overly aggressive. All lupulin powder, and feels like tons of Columbus/Simcoe. Insanely dank, vibrant, and earthy hop complexity; with a great balancing bready malt backbone. Mild residual sweetness with lingering resin dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive west coast style example.
