With impeccable timing (the season’s first dustings are up there, folks), Absinthe Films drops Stay Tuned, a film about "staying tuned on every level, physically, mentally, intuitively," says Justin Hostynek, CEO and Director of Absinthe Films. "But at its heart, it’s just a movie about having fun–and keeping your board tuned. Plus, it's got one of the heaviest lineups in Absinthe history." Melvin Brewing is an official title sponsor of the Absinthe Film and the official sponsor of the Film Tour.

Deep copper brown and hazy with both large and small bubbles, topped by 2 fingers of beige coloured headed.
Smells malty and of pine and citrus, slightly sweet and caramelly.
The taste is of pine and citrus with a balance in Carmel.
Medium body with medium carbonation.
I got this in Chico California and I’m drinking it in Redding California July 17, 2019.

Hazy amber with two fingers of white head. Rings and swathes of lace.
Smell is dank hops with a modest amount of malts.
Taste is dank hops with moderate amount of malts.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and balanced.
Overall a tasty brew that is easy drinking. Canned on ? It has a number I can't read it.

Can from Boise Co-op. Dark amber with a tight, creamy head. Aroma and taste are malt forward, stronger in the taste than the aroma. Caramel, malty, with a bitter bite that seems to come from nowhere.

12 oz. Can

Poured into a tulip a pretty nice slightly hazy dark amber color, with some pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit), slight pine. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangeirne, grapefruit), some pine. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Reminds me of the "balanced" beers from 15 years ago.

This came out of the can a touch darker than I expected, orange but not quite amber. Good lacing on the sides of the glass. Less hoppy than I expected for Melvin in both the aroma and flavor. The hops are there in the flavor but there is a decent malt flavor to it. Not bad actually.
