Draft at Brewer's Haven. Dark golden, clear, small silky head, streaky lacing. Aroma hints at the malt base, while the taste brings a ton of hops, still tasting the nice caramel malts. Does not seem boozy..at first. Latent heat rises up slowly from the hullet. Nice to have a NOT hazy IPA.

Thanks, John! On tap at Beer O'Clock.
A clear light amber with a dense, white head with great retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose is pure WC IPA goodness - dank, bitter, resiny and pine heavy with the Melvin influence quite clear. Mild tropical fruit and minimal sweetness is present. The palate opens dank and bitter, pungently so and quite a pleasure to drink. Alcohol, while noticeable, is not as prevalent as I'd expect given the 10+% ABV - this drinks closer to a ~8% beer. Sweetness is minimal, allowing the focus to be on the bitter and flavoring hops, and they are present in gobs. Drying, bitter and resiny on the finish with a blend of pine, citrus and a little tropical fruit, this beer is quite excellent.

Draught pour at Davis Beer Shoppe into a tulip.
Bright copper with half finger of head with good retention and left smeared lacing.
Nose a bit mute, tropical fruit, pine and booze.
Follows the nose well, hides ABV decently even given its presence on the nose. Finish is healthy bitterness with moderate astringency.
Medium bodied with medium-high carbonation, lively on the tongue, slight ABV burn.
A solid triple that I'd happily get again, but there's others I prefer to it.

On draught at Gaslight Social Club.
Pours a clear gold with a goodly amount of foam, short lived but hey.
Smells super hoppy and malty. Loads of tropical fruit, sweet malt, booze.
Taste is smoother than the smell. Tropical fruit with dankness, quite sweet, nice bitterness level.
Sticky mouthfeel.
Another delicious DIPA from Melvin.
