Pours a clear pale yellow with a finger of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Faint aroma of lemon and citrus. Taste follows nose.

I bought a can of this beer whilst in Jackson, Wyoming during a family vacation to the Tetons and Yellowstone. The beer poured a slightly hazy orangish with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had citrus and subtlr pine notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp semi sweet malt base with citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Average ipa, very light, feels more like a light beer with 5 percent abv. If it's cheap or a hot summer day it's a good grab otherwise not a favorite.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden with a lasting foamy head. Light grainy, malty aroma. Taste is more bready, biscuity malts, light lemon notes. Solid throughout, crushable. Very enjoyable

Can. Clear golden color. White head with lace.
West coast ipa. Floral and piney with some citrus. Bitter and a bit sticky. A touch of resin. Bready malt backbone. A lot of flavor for 5%.

Pours a golden color with a slight haze and plenty of foam in the tall Maredsous goblet. Light body with a watery mouthfeel. Aroma is straw and faint herbs. Light lemony taste with bread and a touch of sweetness. Just a hint of citrus and not much bitterness in the aftertaste.
Crisp and bright with just a kiss of hops. Overall this is more of a not-very hoppy Pale Ale than an IPA, but it's quite drinkable in the lighter style. From the 19.2 ounce can purchased at the supermarket. Dated 03/26/21 on the bottom.

12 oz can.
Dated 9/16/20.
Into EBC Teku.
Pours a hazy but slightly transparent blonde with a creamy cap of 2 fingers. Recedes a bit to a finger and leaves some slight legs and heavy lacing.
Aroma is of sweaty cheddar, creamy mango, and orange candy. Some slight dank cannabis in there as well.
Flavor is very interesting and translates somewhat. It brings sharp cheddar and cantaloupe on top of a hay-like malt base, with lingering notes of pineapple, lavender, chamomile, mandarin, and white grape juice.
Feel is crisp and easy, drinks like a lager with some added resin. Very smooth. No heat.
Overall, a highly enjoyable beer that disappears like a magic trick. Would definitely buy this again.

Imperial pint can served in an imperial pint glass. Pale golden color, off-clear, ample pillowy white head. Classic C-hop aroma of citrus and pine. Citrus zest and grapefruit primarily constitute the flavor profile, which has an oldschool American single-IPA level of bitterness and a clean, dry finish. Mouthfeel is very good thanks to a moderate level of extremely fine carbonation. A very well executed retro IPA.

sick can on this new session brew from melvin, really sharp looking, and no surprise the beer is awesome too, these guys own the hoppy stuff, and this is a nice approachable addition to their lineup. a pleasant looking golden brew with nice radiance, a white head an inch high, and lots of rising bubbles. it smells fresh as can be, a cool hop complexion here, herbal and leafy green without any vegetal character, citrusy but somewhat uniquely so, like clementine or tangerine, a hint of lemongrass, and even a tea-like element, very appealing and bright, and it all comes through in the flavor very well, cohesive, quick and dry, even refreshing with this mouthfeel, but also distinctive and full of soul, which so few session types really are anymore. nice to have a full flavored hoppy option at this lower abv, especially for melvin, who makes so many strong ones. i like how it kind of all hits at once, but isnt overly dry hopped, still has some bitterness, and splashes with things like pineapple, melon, and grapefruit. really good beer in a style that lost its luster long ago, i really appreciate this!
edit: every bit as good the second time around, and actually for all their impressive hoppy stuff, i would frankly rank this one way up there in the full time melvin range, wildly flavorful, distinctive on the hop side, drinkable without being watery, i could easily pick this from a crowd of dozens of session types. really satisfying and warms up well too!

On tap in Meridian. Slightly hazy pale/straw in the glass; minimal head but fairly decent lacing. Citrus and pine come to mind on the nose, fairly rind-y and crackery on the body. Light, present bitterness and a touch of dryness on the finish. Aromas are light and floral, the palate leans in to the hops a little more and delivers moderate notes of citrus juiciness; refreshing. Well-executed 5% hoppy brew.

19.2 ounce can with no dating. Kinda unusual for Melvin.
It pours a clear straw gold with an inch of foam.
Strong aromas of Grapefruit citrus with a mild dankness. Has some grassy notes to my nose buds.
The taste follows the nose. Grapefruit citrus, a little bit of grass, some toasted malt, tasty and sits firmly in the 5%abv region where it is obviously intended. Not a mind blowing experience but I expected that. It's 5% and around $4 for the large volume can.
Has a juicy feel to it with moderate carbonation.
