This beer is actually brewed at Melvin Brewing in Eureka, MO. They are both owned by the same company, but the location in Eureka, MO only brews this beer. Oddly, there's no overlap with beers that they offer between the locations, even in what is available to go at least at the Eureka, MO location. This entry just needs to shift to that location.

Black in color with no light penetration. There's a fingernail of brown on top. The aroma is of pungent piney hops and dark malt. I'm tasting piney hops and dark malt. The mouth is dense and dry.

This porter is poured from a sixteen ounce can. The liquid is completely black, and the head is a dark tan color. The aroma is rich with chocolate, maple, and some roasted scents. The taste has a solid bitterness and intense chocolate notes. Full body and solid.

16oz can. Poured out an opaque, jet-black color with a small, light brown head of bubbly foam. It left sticky patches of lace on the glass. It smelled of maple, vanilla, chocolate, toffee and caramel. Sweet maple taste with some bitter coffee, chocolate and vanilla.
