This has big IPA vibes due to the fruit selection and the "hoppy" part, this tastes excellent and feels good. Might actually be my favorite from Melvin so far.

a new hazy wheat beer from these guys, a little fuller bodied for a summer offering, but the flavors are nice and i like the use of a unique dry hopping and the buddhas hand citrus to finish it, both of which are subtle but make this one of a kind in the style. leaning a little more orange than yellow from the tap, a good head on it, predictably hazy. it smells floral hoppy with a lime note, some fresh meyer lemon, and almost oddly salty. i dont smell much wheat or yeast here, but its intriguing nevertheless. the flavor pops with a little front end citrus splash and now despite the nose this is wheat forward, fresh and course milled and organic to me, more than simple cereal character to it in this brew which i love, and both the hops and buddhas hand seem in service of the wheat. a touch bigger on the palate than it needs to be, its not just fluffy and light from the wheat its sturdy, which is the one element making this less summery than it could be, but i like how it holds the hops through the swallow, a unique profile with a rosewater and elderflower tint to it. lots of bubbles keep it moving, and although its best when frosty cold, it also increases in complexity as it warms. a cool beer overall, a real different take on the american wheat style, a style not explored enough i dont think. i enjoyed this most for that reason.

Draft at Homestead. Hazy orange golden body, wispy head, rings of lacing. Light bready aroma. More soft white bread flavors in the taste, hint of orange, citrus. Thick and chewy.
