The date is smudged on the bottom lip of the can.
It pours a clear pale gold with a short lived head of foam.
I get quite a bit of orange zest in the smell, some grapefruit, and, of course, a degree of tartness.
The taste matches the smell. Tartness level builds up but nearly dissipates in the finish.
Light bodied and does get rather thin but that's due to the low abv.
All in all, a very pleasing example of the style.

tasty new berliner from these guys, packed with bright and tangy yuzu citrus character and moderate acidity, its very light overall, but some wheat is still appreciable in it, and overall this is summery, well refined, and unique with the yuzu. pale washed out looking yellow color, almost a lemonade tone to it from the tap, maybe a shade more golden than that, short white head on top. the nose is sharp at first but more from the citrus than the lactic souring, its lemony and grapefruity both, slightly raw on the grain side, full of drying earthy minerals, and simple in the right ways. the souring is well restrained, there is some pucker here but it remains drinkable and its very clean, nothing sweaty or weird about it. the yuzu is natural and crisping, summery and tropical, a hint of lime and lemongrass among its many essences, floral too but not overdone, nice against the wheat base. light body, high carbonation, just a little bit of a grainy cereal sort of aftertaste, but this is dry and easy to drink. i think a good compliment to their spicy curry in here at the thai me up location, we had a blast finally visiting the original spot! solid berliner here, fun with the yuzu.
