This beer pours a clear gold with a solid head. The aroma is bursting out of the glass, with white pepper, hay, white grape, cantaloupe, dried mango, banana, and pear. The flavor starts with a bit of sweet banana, mango, and pear, then dried out slightly to clove, white pepper, and tangerine peel. The mouthfeel is quite full, with creamy viscosity and fluffy carbonation. Overall this is a damn tasty beer - spot on for an American interpretation of the saison.

What a lovely beer. Herbal lemon aroma with a bit of dry wood (not barrel-like). The flavor gets spicier with white pepper and dried citrus rind and another kick of hoppy lemon at the end. Effervescent with a little body. I'd buy several. Great beer.

On tap at the Happy Gnome. Their take on this classis style does not work for me, including a mouth feel that is way too creamy.
