This is basically the Maori/Tropic King recipe, but they forgot the hops on those. So, this is what the "King" was supposed to be, so I'm told.
More of an orange shade than golden. A bit of haze. Head is a mix of soapy bubbles and more of creamy style bubbles.
Spicy aroma. The addition of the New Zealand hops (forgot which, and I can't read my writing) gives this saison a bit of a grapefruit rind aroma.
It's clear that the hop addition was a good idea, if at least for a chance to make a different beer. Grapefruit and pommelo juiciness. Coriander and some band aid. Clove. Green banana or plantain. Refreshing beer, and the hops are highlighted. I'm getting to like this "southern" hops.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
