On tap at the Village Tavern in Geneseo, NY.
Pours a slightly golden dark brown, with a thick, creamy looking one inch head, and lots of lacing.
Smells like brown sugar, toasty malts, raisins, caramel, and some slight leafy hops.
It tastes the same as the aroma, essentially. This is a really rich beer for the lower level of alcohol, good job Naked Dove. Toffee, brown sugar, caramel, and toasted bread make malt appearances, with some chocolate-covered raisin flavor as well.
This is medium bodied, with a creamy rich mouthfeel, and a little bit of carbonation. Very drinkable.
This is a very taste English ale- not quite sure what style to call it, but I love it.
