Just cracked open a 10 year old bottle that has been kept in a refrigerator since 2015. A little chunky at the bottom but still tastes great.

Decent beer, but a little bitter for my liking. Tastes of currants with sharp bitterness. Pours very dark with solid lacing. One can definitely taste the bitterness in the ABV on this brew.

On tap at Half Pint Pub in Rochester, NY.

Pours a dark deep black, with a one inch fluffy head, almost looks like a nitro head, with a ton of webby lacing.

Smells like strong and smoky roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, and roasted coffee.

This is one of the best beers ever produced in the local area around here. There's a really solid amount of sweet and smoky roasted malt, bitter chocolate, sweet molasses, and roasted espresso beans. This hits every note that you'd want a Russian Imperial Stout to hit.

This is pretty thick bodied, with a full and thick mouthfeel, and a lower level of carbonation. It's very drinkable for the higher alcohol.

This is definitely up there with the best beers that have been produced in western NY.
