On tap at Donnelly's Public House in Fairport, NY.
This one pours a clear dark amber, with a small head, and a lot of lacing.
Smells pretty delicious, bittersweet caramel, toffee, piney hops, and burnt bread.
This is a pretty killer beer from Naked Dove. It's not oak aged at all, but I seem to get some oak and coconut flavors, which is nice, along with caramel, toffee, chocolate, and charred bread flavors. There's a pretty nice complimentary hop flavor to this one, with some bitter pine and a bit of light orange marmalade. Delish.
This is pretty thick bodied, a bit chewy, with a lower level carbonation, appropriate for the style.
This is a textbook barleywine, nailed to the T. Great job, Naked Dove.
