On tap at The Green Front Restaurant in Canandaigua, NY.
This one pours a golden orange color, clear, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like biscuity malt, grapefruit, and pine.
Naked Dove still isn't all that adept at making IPAs. I like this brewery a lot, but IPAs are not their forte. It's quite malty, but at least it doesn't have that watery character that most Session IPAs have. It almost feels more like an English style IPA, or something like that, with the heightened malt character.
This is light bodied, clean, and crisp, at least with a pretty decent drinkability.
I'll continue drinking Naked Dove's porters and lagers and all that good stuff, but I should just stay away from IPAs at this point.
