This one pours a dark brown-ish, almost black color, with a fluffy head, and lots of lacing.

This luckily smells primarily like 45 Fathoms – a delightfully clean and roasty aroma, offset by some light Christmas spicing.

This is a very fun blend of beers. 45 Fathoms is one of my favorite local beers, and Naughty and Nice is a fun little Christmas seasonal – combining them is certainly a fun idea! It’s mostly 45 Fathoms in the taste, as it’s a stronger tasting beer. It tastes like a really great porter with some judicious Christmas spicing – ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, maybe even some vanilla?

This is medium bodied, creamy, and very smooth on the finish.

I enjoyed this one a bit more than I thought I might.
