On-tap at the brewpub: A strangely vibrant pale straw yellow with hugely active carbonation action within. Small but compact whitish head thats a bit styrofoam-like. Lacing sits along the glass in some spots.
Aroma is a sharply acute raspberry extract with a spiked wine cooler-kool-aid spritz.
Whoa...this is down right awful. Major raspberry abstract just flys up the nostrils with carbonation that could put ginger ale to shame. Its beyond the notion of kool-aid like flavoring and 7-up grabbing. Its got obtuse vanilla soda backing and some crackling wheatishness. Many off flavors of old sour gum drops, battery acid, decaying aluminum, and puckering sour sugared carbonation.
Three sips and I was finished with it. The Mrs. had just about the same a hard of time with it as I did but nursed it for about an hour before giving up with still 1/8th left in the glass.
Thank goodness they have some other fine brews to move on to.
