Copenhagen 23/1 2026. 37,5 cl bottle in a cardboard tube from Private Selection, Rødovre Centrum, Rødovre. Dark green label with a lot of gold. A shield surrounded by branches from an apple tree. No wonder hat they call it a "Imperial Graff".
Pours clear amber with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Disappears almost completely leaving a lonely patch of foam behind.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a malty scent, Caramel and rye bread. Oxidized apple and a bit of sugar. Looming alcohol.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong cider-like sweetness followed by a moderately strong tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet and a little sugary with a boozy undercurrent. Lingering. Finish is sweet and a little boozy.
Sweet and boozy cider-brew. I do not think that Graff will grow on me.
