Large bottle (thanks Becca).
The body is a bit too thin but very smooth.
Apple brandy comes through in the aroma and the flavor. Good balance except for excessive sweetness.
Favorable reactions from friends with which this was shared.

750ml bottle poured into a matching Westbrook snifter. The brew appears dark brown in color with a khaki head that fades leaving spotty lace.
Aroma is rich with caramel, toffee, molasses, vanilla and oak with a fruitiness somewhat suggesting apple.
Taste is also very rich with caramelized sugars, toffee, vanilla, oak and apple-like to vinous boozy warmth. A touch of oxidation across the finish.
Full body, modestly carbonated. Fantastic stuff. I know Westbrook gets a lot of love/attention for their limited release of Mexican cake. Why the hell arnt people going nuts over this beer? It is incredible blend of strong belgian meets old ale layered in wonderful barrel aged pleasantries and complexity. Holy shit, id love to have this again.
