L-dark dark brown, pretty much black with thick lacing and a tiny tan head. Looks bold!
S-cinnamon is heavier in the smell but I really get tons of smooth chocolate and bourbon and oak
T-damn near perfect. The barrel isnt super overpowering, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's very present along with oak, and tons of cocoa/chocolatey goodness. Vanilla and more of the barrel continues to open as it warms. The barrel really takes most of the peppers out of it
F-creamy, coating, thick, but no booze heat at all.
O-one of the best BA beers I've had. This was incredible. I will be back (soon I hope!) and will keep enjoying their cellar list!

Tan head. Black in color.
This one is rich and chocolaty. Lots of bourbon and oak. Has a German chocolate cake. Less spice here. Vanilla and cinnamon show. A little roasty.
I liked the pappy and the JD much better than this one, but it was still nice.

Chocolate is definitely noticeable. Vanilla and cinnamon are very pronounced. Medium/full mouthfeel. No pepper heat whatsoever. A hint of pepper flavor. Oak and subtle coconut notes from the barrels.
