375mL bottle into a snifter
Bottled on: 11/2/15
A: Dark mahogany brown, opaque, less than 1 fingers width of light tan head dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. 4.25
S: Huge aroma, tons of cherry, very tart, dark fruit sweetness, candied sugar, caramel, oaky vanilla. Excellent. 4.5
T: Incredibly tart and huge cherry notes. Great oaky characters; lactic acidity; sweet caramel. This beer is flat out fantastic. 5
M/D: Full bodied but not thick, carbonation on the higher end but appropriate, ABV is exceptionally well masked, and drinkability is excellent. 4.75
O: Wow. Probably my favorite Westbrook I’ve beer ever, which speaks immensely to how I feel about it. In the conversation with the best beer’s I’ve ever had. World class. 5
