Canned on 5/31/18, opened for a quality check, and surprisingly has held up really well.

Pours a hazy golden yellow, with a nice half finger head of frothy lace that falls slowly into the glass. Heavy patches of lace left around the outside.

Very subtle hints of malt combine with a bright, zesty citrus nose. On the back end, a light tropical pineapple really helps to round out the nose.

Grassy hops hit the pallet first, followed up and complimented nicely by ruby red grapefruit. Hints of earth and bitter pineapple follow and leave a slight bitterness in the tail.

Pretty soft mouthfeel to this beer, with a low carb and juicy finish. A refreshing DDH IPA, and has held up incredibly well... just over 3 months old.

Pours golden-nectarine like color, the foamy head settles quickly.

Has sort of a rustic, almost woodsy smell to it.

Medium body to it. Not a lot of carbonation.

Taste is somewhat dynamic. This is truely a unique beer: The first sip tasted like a lot of typical fruity IPAs. But the next few sips are when I picked up on a lot of different flavors: pineapple, white grape, lime, some kind of sweet spicyness. It has a nice, light, drying bitterness to it which sets it apart from juicy IPAs.

From a month-old can, pours a very hazy deep gold. Smell has melon, tropical and stone fruits, and white grapes. Taste follows. Nice drying bitterness. Smooth feel with some substance to it. Good beer.

A: Poured from the can into a Piraat tulip/snifter-type glass. Body is hazy/juicy golden-nectarine in color, with a foamy 1-finger white head that settles quickly.

S: Not a strong nose - some modest tropical fruit, lime and a bit vinous, makes me think of Nelson Sauvin hops.

T: First impression is that there's not a lot going on, flavor-wise. But after the second sip and the palate has adjusted, I get a lot of different flavors: generic tropical fruitiness (underripe mango, papaya, and plenty of pineapple), citrus (lime, mainly) and a touch of white grapes and underripe peaches. It's different from what I've been drinking, which is nice.

M: Good feel for this style: juicy.

O: Very good stuff.

Can dated 5/31/18. Pours a cloudy gold with an inch and a half head that left plenty of lacing. Smells of citrus, pine and grass. Tastes of lemon, lime, some zest, underripe tropical fruits (pineapple or mango), floral notes, pine and grass. Medium bodied and carbonated, light bitterness and a slightly dry finish.

16 oz can poured into Pilsner glass canned on 11/03.

A: Soapy white head sits atop a murky bright orange tan body.

S: citrusy and pineapple with a little bit of a rustic earthy herb spice smell.

T: not so much citrusy as it is that herbal spice taste almost like Italian seasoning, but not quite. Has a very Weed/green vine like taste as well.

M: medium bodied with a little bit of chewiness to it. Lower carbonation.

O: This is a solid beer, I went in expecting a juice bomb. I like the unique flavors these hops bring out and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a change of pace.

Probably the best all around ale I've had this year. Subtle yet complex, with a lingering softness that only ddh can bring out. I was crushed to find that the canning seems to be a one shot, but I just found out there are growlers available about 30 minutes away. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow?

This a very interesting IPA, with layers upon layers of different flavors. Initial flavor profile of lemon/lime citrus with a gummy candy flavor that reminds me oddly and so specifically of the childhood favorite white flavor shark bite gummy candies. It must be some berry that I can't pinpoint, like a less sweet blueberry. Big stone fruit flavor that reminds me of a hard, unripened white peach/nectarine, along with white grape. Some mango. There's a sweet spicyness. Think rye, not heat. It's grassy, with a bitter, lingering herbal flavor. It's an effervescent beer remiscient of champagne

This ain't no pillowy soft juice bomb of an IPA. Much more layered and complex probably to be paired nicely with some oily fish or a charcuterie plate. Respect Westbrook.

Medium gold opaque body with a fluffy white head that laced the glass... Lots of lime and vine and slightly unripe mango, with floral accents... Medium-body, moderately bitter, subdued sweetness... Leaves a "green" shellac on the tongue, drying on the finish with a wine-like character... 11/3/17 canning...

Can stamped 11/03/17

Cloudy pale orange with a tall head that slips down to a soapy, frothy cap. Smells soft and hoppy: fragrant lemon/lime zest, dried pineapple chunks, light floral hops, mango, and honey. Flavor nails the NEIPA profile with its soft, fruity hop profile though with a very interesting NZ hop combo. Lime, mango, mixed berries, and crisp green grassy notes. Medium bodied, somewhat creamy, and crisp. Good stuff.

Appearance: Pours cloudy and honey colored with thick, two-fingered head that sticks; clumps of lacing drape the glass

Smell: Lemon/lime and mowed grass, with hints of pineapple and white wine grape

Taste: Pineapple and lemon/lime tones forward with a growing spicy. grassy character; the bitter, spicy tone builds, through the middle; a hint of vinous, Sauvignon Blanc grape emerges in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A twist on the New England style, using Germanic hop varietals from the Antipodes; interesting, though not a classic interpretation

Super hazy with unreal head retention and lovely lacing left behind.  Aroma is tropical with fresh mango, unripe apricot, some mild booze. The taste is similarly rich in mango and papaya, with some canned peaches and mild pine. The mouthfeel is insane. Thick and chewy, much like a pulpy orange juice. Probably the best feature of this beer.

Poured from undated 16 oz can

A: Cloudy pale yellow with 1-2 finger frothy white head. Lasting retention and heavy lacing. Almost looks like pineapple juice.

S: Punch of citrus with pineapple, tangerine, and mango. Bits of lemon and lime with an almost mojito quality to it.

T: Juicy citrus with pineapple, tangerine, and mango. Just a hint of sweetness with some subtle lime.

M: Medium body with average carbonation. Slightly dry finish.

O: Outstanding IPA. A little bit pricy, but a nice treat.
