Notes:
This beer combines three of our favorite things: juicy fresh-squeezed hops, zesty and bright citrus fruits, and a name that doesn’t make any sense unless you know the story behind it. Enjoy!

Picked up a 16 oz single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 7-16-20 for $3.74. Canned 6-29-20, consumed 9-7-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy orange with an smallish white head that has some decent hang time.
Nose has notes of fresh citrus.
Taste is tangerine forward with some mango over a good size oat malt base. Finishes with a nice touch of balancing rind' 6/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and very smooth.
Overall a pretty good rendition of a double NEIPA!

16 oz can with a canning date stamp on the bottom from 4 weeks ago.
Look. Pours with a cloudy body that resembles apricot nectar.
Aroma. Rich; dominated by tropical fruits featuring ripe, soft fruits including passion fruit.
Flavor. Strong and dominated by rupee fruit notes. The bitterness leans just a little towards mild for the style.
Feel. Medium-full body with medium carbonation. A bit harsh.

Sturdy effort from Westbrook. Copper-colored IPA, citrus forward with a deep, long-lasting hop finish. Despite being a double IPA, not terribly complex. But it does one thing really, really well.

16oz canned 6/25/18 (9 days ago) poured into a stemless wine glass at fridge temp 8.5% ABV. The beer pours hazy yellow orange amber with off white head. The aroma is faint of semisweet orange. The taste is semisweet orange & slight caramel. The mouthfeel is medium to thin bodied with prickly carbonation and a semi dry finish. Almost no perceived alcohol in the nose or flavor. Overall, good, but not a standout. This seems very much like someone is just trying to brew a beer for sales and not because they love the style.

Pours a golden straw color with appropriate white head. Pleasant aromas of grapefruit, malt, lemon, apricot, mango. Flavor is a bit over the top in an artificial way. Medium bodied, Mouthfeel is slick. Does not sit well in my stomach at all. Not my favorite offering from one of my favorite breweries. Had to dump 1/2 of it.

Good DIPA. Pours from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, a hazy dull honey yellow color with orange highlights. Medium size white head with good retention and thick bands of lacing. Aroma is citrus (orange) and some oily, piney hops as well. Taste is subtle for a DIPA but includes citrus hops, caramel malt, and some oily, resiny hops. Mouthfeel is nicely bitter - still with some balance from the malt -, crisp and medium-bodied. A well crafted DIPA, not a hop bomb, just tastes good.

Pours hazy orange. Tall, fluffy, white head that lasts a while with good lacing.
Smells Orange, grapefruit, Citrus, Brandy and caramel malt.
Taste orange, citrus peel, caramel hints, so much orange juice. Finishes dry with a citrus peel linger. Medium body and fizzy medium carbonation.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a deep orange color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of bright white, foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of citrus, hops, tropical fruit, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a good shot of hops, a tinge of caramel, some light pine resin, lots of citrus (orange, in particular), and lots of tropical fruit (mango) as well. An extremely well-balanced, light, and sweet flavor. Slightly more subtle than the usual DIPA, but this isn't a problem.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An extremely enjoyable, well made DIPA. Quite easy to drink.

16 oz can poured into CBX pint glass.
A: pours a hazy dull golden body, plenty of sediment, bright white one finger foam head that slowly fades to perimeter, stringy lacing, carbonation
S: awesome tropical and citrus fruit aroma, mango, citrus, grapefruit peel
M: medium body with prickly feel on the tongue
T: citrus, orange oil, heavy grapefruit taste that packs a punch in the middle with bittering grapefruit rind, cracker, slight pine oil resin in the finish
O: DIPA for sure, while hops are heavy it is not overly bitter and balanced
