L: Had this beer on-tap at Westbrook, poured into a pint glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored head that lasted a fair amount of time. Very good lacing.
S: A solid aroma of coffee, roasted malt, chocolate, bourbon, and hops.
T: Tasted of a little bit of dark chocolate, some roasted malt, a good shot of coffee, a tinge of hops (mostly in the finish), a and a fair amount of bourbon (and the accompanying barrel. Not quite as rich and aggressive as other coffee stouts, but the flavor is still pretty good. Quite tasty.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A very solidly made and likable stout. Definitely drinkable.
