Canned 11/9/23
I’m not exactly sure what makes this one “holiday” aside from the name, but it came in a holiday 3 pack of Westbrook beers from Tavour. I’ve only had sour beers from them so far so I’m curious what their hop game is all about. Let’s crack it open and find out
Pours a hazy pale gold with 2 fingers of soapy white head that slowly fades to a cap and leaves decent lacing
The nose shows a nice balance of spicy and fruity hops. I’m picking up on aromas of orange juice, black pepper, pithy grapefruit, crackery malt, herbal hops, lemon zest, and light cantaloupe
It’s more of the same in taste and I’m perfectly fine with that. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting orange zest, bready malt, mango skin, pithy grapefruit, grassy hops, lemon zest, and light vanilla. The swallow brings notes of orange zest, pithy grapefruit, herbal hops, bready malt, black pepper, vanilla bean, and overripe cantaloupe
A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a crisp beer. Finishes bone dry and refreshing
This definitely isn’t a take on a NEIPA that I was expecting, but it does have a holiday spice vibe to it

A seasonal holiday beer that doesn't taste like a cinnamon fruitcake...If you like SN Celebration you will love this.

Picked up a single from TW-Greenville, SC on 11-16-21 for $5.99. Canned 11-4-21; consumed 3-6-21. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a turbid orange with a pretty good white head.
Nose is nice, fresh tropical and citrus fruits.
Taste is a single ipa malt and oat base that combines with a blend of orange, grapefruit, and peaches. Finishes with a nice balancing rind hop; 6/10 on my bittering scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall a solid NEIPA, nothing spectacular.
