A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of yuzu fruit are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has some hints of floral hops in the finish.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The yuzu fruit in this rice lager makes it rather aromatic and tasty.

16 oz can with a 27 June 2019 canning date stamp.
Pours with a lightly hazy pale straw colored body topped by a tall, soapy white head.
Moderately strong aroma featuring yuzu.
The flavor follows, bringing the light tartness suggested by the aroma.
Feel: medium-high carbonation in a light body. Semi-dry finish.
Overall: Bold and flavorful for style and compared to at least some Japanese versions.

Presentation: 16 oz. can with the canning date on the bottom. Served in a Rastal Harmony glass.
Appearance: The bubbly, half finger head goes away quickly and leaves behind some lacing in small patches and spots. It's a crystal clear, pale yellow color.
Smell: It's mostly a sweet grainy smell at first and then some dank citrus fruit notes show up and take over.
Taste: It's very well balanced between the tart, fruity lemon and lime notes from the yuzu and a soft grain/rice sweetness.
Mouthfeel: It's light bodied, crisp and refreshing with medium carbonation.
Overall: Despite the lightness and lack of complexity it still has some interesting flavors and scents that make it stand out. Overall a very good and refreshing beer.

Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a Willi Becher glass, this beer pours out an extremely pale straw color. It forms an active, but well packed, one finger width, white crown. Extremely clear; perfectly so. (Especially for mentioning of dry hopping)
The nose brings a tart touch of fruit to it while being backed by a slight dry grain. Apple skins and pear present. Nice pronunciation for a lager, not underwhelming.
The taste comes in much more grainy than the nose. The dry grains fade into a balanced presence of the fruit mentioned before, yuzu, apple and pears. A pretty beautiful, floral hop presence that interacts perfect with the fruit.
Dry on the mouthfeel with a crisp finish. It’s what I expect in a lager.
Overall, I thought Westbrook handled this well and enjoyed it for my first Japanese rice lager!
