L: Had this beer on-tap at Westbrook's tasting room, poured into a taster. Had a bright, pinkish / red color and a very cloudy consistency. There was a thin, off white head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: An odd aroma of watermelon, citrus fruit, salt, and malt.
T: Tasted of an above average amount of salt (more than expected), a whole lot of watermelon (a big ingredient), light malt notes (present, though subtle), and some citrus fruit (lime, in particular). Like the aroma, the flavor is an odd thing. It's slightly off-putting, but also somewhat inviting (and definitely sweet). Sour, but not too much so.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a lively finish. Light-bodied.
F: An uneven, but interesting beer. Worth a try.
