Appearance: A hard pour produces two fingers of foam floating on the rather hazy light amber liquid; good retention and a few shards
Smell: Tart tropical fruit elements with the pineapple and passionfruit most prominent
Taste: Tropical tartness from start to finish with pineapple and passionfruit again being most distinct; hard to detect more than a hint of guava, but that is a fruit that I cannot think of coming from a tart direction so the hint is sweet and underneath the other flavors
Mouthfeel: Medium body and slightly thicker than anticipated; moderate carbonation
Overall: A refreshing kettle sour that would work great on a hot summer day

16 oz can poured into a willi becher. Pours a cloudy yellow/orange with a large, long-lasting off-white head. Aroma and flavor feature tart passionfruit, sweet pineapple, and generic tropical fruit (guava, I've come to assume). The spices (nutmeg mainly) aren't obvious at first sip but they definitely sneak up on you and my enjoyment gradually went down - 16 oz was almost too much. Still, it's pretty tasty and would be a great summertime beer.

Poured from the can into a tulip glass.
Opaque body, with a lemon yellow color and some linear visible carbonation. Top is a creamy off white color, three fingers with fine bubbles and staying power. Does look like a piece of lemon merringue pie in a glass, with a dollop of cream on top indeed.
Big fruity nose. Hints of coconut and lots of pineapple notes, with a pina colada cocktail like quality. Nice touches of lime sourness but there's also a vanilla and creamy sweetness in the mix also. Quite nice and impressive somewhat.
Very fun palate. Cocktail pineapple and cherry notes in the mid palate, with a great amount of zesty bitterness of lime. More tropical fruit seems to come from everywhere, like drinking straight out of the punch bowl. Zesty astringent lime in the finish, and touches of light sourness that makes the tropical fruit just explode and pop.
Great tasting tropical sour beer, with a fun angle that works well.

On a hot summer day this just seemed like a perfect fit, and really it was but not necessarily the way I expected. The pineapple, passion fruit and guava were all there in a slightly tart and very refreshing way, actually got so mango too, but the finish didn't seal the deal completely, just kind of ends with no resolution. Sourness is mild, sweetness too, no carbonation and doesn't fully commit to the smoothie style, but it still works as a tropical drink beer.

A: The beer is very hazy pale yellow in color - too hazy to see if there is any visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high white head that left a delicate film on the surface, a narrow collar around the edge, and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pineapple and guava are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of passionfruit along with notes of guava and hints of passionfruit. There is a light amount of sourness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and somewhat juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is like a tropical fruit smoothie, except that it is sour instead of sweet. I liked how it wasn't overly sour and the sourness mostly seemed to balance off the sweetness from the fruit.
