One-finger head; citrus smell noticeable as soon as the top is popped. Very hazy. For an IPA, somewhat sweet & heavy. Overall, just okay.

Hazy OJ orange with a short off-white blanket.
Pungent and potent, it exhibits reduced citruses and more substantial malt, both in concert, but with a slightly catty dankness following not far behind.
However, it's also a sneaker, as it doesn't have too present a boozy kick.

A: The beer is murky yellow in color and has some hints of brownish hues. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of grapefruit and mango are present in the nose along with notes of pine.
T: The taste follows the smell, except that the piney flavors are a bit stronger and persist through the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied, juicy and a bit slick on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: You can definitely get a sense that this beer is strong given the amount of hops that were used but it does a very good job at hiding most of the alcohol from the taste.

Picked up a 16 oz single can from TW-Greenville, SC on 5-30-21 for $6.49. Canned on 3-17-21; consumed 7-7-21. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a turbid orange with a nice white head with the original pour.
Nose is a nice combination of citrus, tropical, and floral hops.
Taste is a huge malt base that has a silly amount of hop flavors including orange, passion, and mango. Finishes with a nice rind bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and very smooth and thick.
Overall a flavorful ginormous brew that was fun to try given i have enjoyed other "Claws" over the last handful of years. Not for the faint of heart!

A bridge too far for me. Looks amazing, thick hazy orange body with a billowing pearl white head. But the hops in both the smell and taste just come across as unnecessarily harsh. The pineapple, orange, lemon and grapefruit is lovely but the hop bitters are so strong they burn a little as it warms. Feel is jagged with hop bitters through the sip periodically, otherwise smooth and juicy haziness. I'm sure some will relish this, I just find it to be ok and beyond what I prefer in my NEIPA's
