Picked up a 16oz single from TW Greenville SC 7-19-21 for $6.49. Canned 5-25-21; consumed 9-3-21. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy orange with a very nice white head with the original pour. Totally looks like orange juice!
Nose is very nice, fresh squeezed oranges dominate with a little pineapple in the background.
Taste follows the nose with a pretty good sized malt base that has some oats for hazing purposes that is nicely hopped with an orange-pineapple primary flavor profile along with some gooseberry bitterness. Finishes with a solid orange rind and gooseberry bitterness; 7/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and smooth and somewhat refreshing.
Overall a very good ipa. Happy to contribute to the SC Aquarium otters!

Pours a very hazy orange color, looking opaque in the glass. A frothy, creamy and soft looking white head retains very well.
The nose first opens with notes of caramel, honey and biscuity malts. This is followed by aromas of tropical fruit, including mango, pineapple, papaya, banana and passion fruit. Semi dank notes of grass and herbs are nicely complicated by citrusy aromas of lime and candied orange.
Nice balance of flavors, as the firm malt base aptly supports the range of hops flavors. Juicy and loaded with resinous fruit evoking tropical and citrus fruit. There is a developing bitterness that evokes notes of pine sap, sweet grass and pepper. Additional tasting notes include caramel, biscuit, pineapple, peach and orange.
Medium to full bodied but very drinkable. The mouthfeel is soft, smooth and pillowy. The finish is smooth and dry with a gentle lingering hops burn.
This was good. It got a lot of things right because of its good malts to hops balance and good drinkability relative to its ABV. I would have again.

LOOK: Pours a thick, translucent hazy dull gold with some orange hues. So thick that nearly no light can pass through it. The head is loose and fades very quickly to a unimpressive skim and only scant side glass lace.
AROMA: Lots of citrus, pineapple most prominent. Aserbic citrus sour hop aroma.
TASTE: Not quite as sour as expected but still enough that a little puckering occurred. Citrus flavors included pineapple, peach and tropicals. Hints of wheat, which for is not welcome.
Has a drying finish.
Has a lot going for it just not in my wheelhouse.

A: Pours a milky murky medium bright yellowish orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along he edges of the glass and moderate bright yellow + bright orange + peach + apricot + pale orange colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy bright white head that reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thin film covering a little less than 50% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy citrus/orange + tropical/pineapple + stone fruit/peach + citrus/orange zest hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + pale + oat + wheat malts with a light amount of sugary sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy citrus/orange + tropical/pineapple + stone fruit/peach + citrus/orange zest hops which impart a light to moderate amount of lingering bitterness which is joined in the finish by lingering citrus/orange zest hops.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Light amounts of soft/fluffiness mid-body and a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and just enough soft/fluffiness in the mouthfeel. Enjoyable with nice citrus/tropical/stone fruit hop flavors and aromas as well as some bitterness from the hops and the citrus zest.
