This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like rich bourbon vanilla, oaky char, roasted malt, caramel, and espresso.
There's a good and solid amount of sweet bourbon vanilla here, but there's even more barrel here - caramel, more vanilla, cookie dough, oak char, leathery bourbon, creme brulee.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and with no real booziness to it - which is absurd, given that this was in barrels for 42 months.
This is a decadent and excellent treat. I love the super extended amount of time in barrels here.
