This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like rich roasty peanut butter, dark caramelly and molasses-ish bourbon, dark chocolate, oak, and vanilla.
This one of the best peanut butter-based stouts that I've ever had. The peanut butter is sweet and roasty all at the same time, super bold, and melds very, very well with the creamy dark chocolate notes. There's a very pleasant barrel character here - caramel, creme brulee, molasses, oak, and vanilla.
This is medium bodied, with no booze to it whatsoever, with a nice creamy drinkability to it.
Westbrook continues to house one of my favorite barrel programs in the country. This is wonderful.
