Double Barrel S.F.B. is our newer imperial stout base that was first aged in a Maker's Mark bourbon barrel for 9 months, then transferred into a fresh dumped Booker's bourbon barrel and aged for an additional 27 months. Bottled straight with minimal carbonation for maximum syrupy bourbon flavor.

I believe its a 16oz bottle with a date of August 2022 on the sticker. 392 bottles produced at 15% ABV. Picked up at Westbrook in early October 2022

L - Pitch black, no head or lacing. Its been in a barrel for years, makes sense

S - Bourbon x 3. Delicious notes of caramel, brown sugar, toffee, and booze

T - Like the smell, a perfect blend of boozy bourbon and stout. Well balanced

F - Oily smooth, thin body

O - This one is about as good as a BBS gets. Well done!
