16 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC.
This has the color and opacity of used motor. It has a very full, smooth body but with the high ABV only partially hidden. The aroma is a little disappointing. It suggests too little harmonization among the ingredients but this problem does not appear in the flavor. The flavor has strong notes of dark roasted grains, 'evergreen' hops, black coffee and ginger. It's bitter-sweet.

pours jet black in color, thick brown colored head that fades down to a thin ring around the glass. very big strong ginger aroma, pretty much overwhelms the typical roasty malt flavors. the taste follows, with a slightly sweet finish. I like ginger in general but it's a bit too much for me. full bodied.

A Tavour Treat. Pours a dark brown color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of sweet vanilla and other spices. Taste is a bit spicy and slightly sweet. Smooth and creamy.

December 2022. Very full flavorful beer not overly spiced. Rather pricey, but would get it again.
