Our take on a traditional Belgian-style Tripel. A simple grain bill consisting of German pilsner and rye malts supplemented with Belgian candi sugar allows the Belgian Ardennes yeast to take center stage, resulting in a highly digestible and delicious drinking experience.
Tasting notes -
Deep golden color, papaya and light spice on the nose. Sweet fresh hay and fruity yeast on the palate, finishes dry.

Poured into a New Belgium tulip from a growler filled at Green's Piney Grove in Columbia, SC
A: slightly hazy golden straw color. Nice thin, creamy white head forms upon pouring, but fades quickly leaving a very fine lacing on the glass.
S: Spicy notes-clove predominates for me; also some bready malt aromas
T: Spice carries over nicely...mostly clove again, some peppercorn, perhaps others I can't quite place. Malt hides alcohol well.
M: Mild effervescence & crispness on the tongue, but somewhat creamy overall.
O: Very enjoyable 'locally' brewed Belgian offering. Definitely worth a shot!

Got my growler filled at Growlers in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Poured in pint glass.
A: Pours a clear straw color with a slight bubbly haze. 1 finger white head that dissipates quickly.
S: Very yeasty with some great spices. Hints of cinnamon and coriander. Clove for sure. Grassy notes peak through after the beer warms.
T: Same yeast with some sweet fruits. Some banana shines. Bitter hops pop up at the end a nice dry malt finish.
M: Nice and crisp with a little oily mouthfeel. Medium carbonation.
O: A decent triple. Flavors aren't too complex but they blend well.

Pours a slightly cloudy glowing gold with a creamy white head. Aromas and flavors of bready malt, bananas, cloves, and nice spicy Belgian yeast. This Tripel is definitely on the spicy side, the clove and white pepper flavors are in full force. Slightly creamy with a medium body and crisp carbonation. Excellent example of the style, one I went back for a few times.
